Great Wall of China

One of the wonders of the world is the Great Wall of China.  I was amazed at how long it was an how crowded the portion you can hike is with tourists.

We traveled to China with my Father and my sister and her family as well as my Brother in Law's parents.  They were all the best of traveling companions.

This is the view at the opening of the Great wall.  Lots of tourist shops.

There is a tram that takes you to the top of the wall.  

 Although many of the pictures look like visiting the Wall was a photo opportunity; it was an experience that we won't forget.  The work that it took to build the wall anciently is amazing.  I do not wonder why this is a wonder of the world.
