Moorea French Polynesia

In the center of the South Pacific, A small French Polynesian island is nestled not far from Bora Bora and Tahiti. This beautiful island is Moorea.  It is pronounced Mo-O-Raya.

If you arrive by boat or Cruiseship, you will enjoy this gorgeous view of the island.

We took a taxi to a beach on the island where there used to be a Club Med resort.  The gorgeous white sand beach was inviting and photogenic.

In the area there are baby sharks that swim near the shore and sometimes nibble on guests as they swim.  Luckily, we did not have that experience but we did have a stingray swim very close to the shore and through the swimmers.  My husband and I followed it down the beach in the water.  It did not seem to be bothered at all by humans sharing the beach.

If you have an opportunity to visit the South Pacific.  This beautiful island will not disappoint you.
