On the way to touring Pompei, we visited an artisan that made fine Italian Jewelry.
The city of Pompei was covered with lava from an eruption nearby. It has been excavated and it is a very interesting tour.
In these photos you can see homes with their frescas still on the walls and people who were covered with the lava and ash and died in Pompei. If you are a historian you will love exploring this unique ancient city.
