One of the most famous and most picturesque lighthouses in the world is the beautiful lighthouse at Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. In fact there were many photos waiting to be taken in the area immediately around this tourist attraction. These views would make some lovely paintings and probably already have.
Lobster also like this area and even have a street named after them. You can spot lobster traps stacked behind some houses in this little fishing village. If you love the ocean or lighthouses or lobster put Peggy's Cove on your bucket list.
We have been to Scotland, but actually saw more Kilts and Bagpipes in "New Scotland"( Nova Scotia) than we did in Scotland. We can see why those who immigrated from Scotland feel so at home in this beautiful part of the world.
Halifax and surrounding areas have some beautiful historic homes that you pass on the way to Peggy's Cove
